Biography

Pierre-Albert Vial obtained his law degree from the University of Geneva in 1988. He began his legal training in 1989 at the law firm of René Merkt et Associés in Geneva, after which he was admitted to the bar in 1991. Pierre-Albert Vial went on to complete his training, qualifying as a Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) in 1996 and as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) in 1999.

He developed his management skills at Wharton, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia USA (2000) and at the Swiss Banking School (2005). He completed his training in Family Wealth Advisory (CFWA) at the Family Firm Institute in 2013. 

Pierre-Albert Vial has worked in the Swiss and international fiduciary/banking sector for over 25 years with institutions such as Credit Suisse / UBS / Citi / Lloyds / Coutts, specialising in wealth engineering and family office, a multi-disciplinary field covering legal matters, matrimonial and inheritance law, pensions and taxation, domiciliations and philanthropy
