Biography

Yann Hänggeli obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Swiss law from the University of Lausanne in 2020, graduating summa cum laude. He then completed a Master’s degree in Swiss law at the University of Lausanne in 2022, specialising in litigation law, graduating magna cum laude. Prior to his studies, Yann Hänggeli took part in the entire selection process to become a career military pilot. In parallel with his studies, he then worked as an ad hoc clerk at the Justice of the Peace in the Jura-Nord Vaud and Gros-de-Vaud districts. He also worked as a trainee tax expert for FJF Favre Juridique et Fiscal SA and as a student assistant at the University of Lausanne for the Swiss Moot Court legal competition. 

Outside his professional activities, Yann Hänggeli is in charge of the women’s LNA team at Volleyball club Cheseaux. In this role, he is mainly responsible for administrative matters relating to the recruitment of professional and semi-professional players, as well as relations with the various sports federations.
