Me Céline Lelièvre pursued her law studies in France, in Nancy. She obtained her DEA (Diplôme de droit approfondi) in private law in 1995 and then worked as a teaching assistant at the same university.
In 2001, she decided to continue her studies in Luxembourg, where she was admitted to the Bar. That same year, she joined a law firm specializing in new technologies. In 2009, she established her own law firm, DCL Avocats, in Luxembourg.
After moving to Switzerland in 2012, Me Céline Lelièvre was admitted to the Vaud Bar Association as an EU/EFTA lawyer in 2015.
For the past 24 years, whether in Luxembourg or Switzerland, Me Céline Lelièvre has been assisting her clients, primarily businesses, in their daily operations. She supports them from their creation, drafting articles of association and shareholders’ agreements, and setting up their commercial contracts (general terms and conditions of sale, distribution agreements, franchise agreements, etc.). She also advises them on managing their employees throughout the employment relationship, covering labor law matters (drafting, amending, terminating contracts, and handling disputes), as well as work and/or residence permits. Additionally, she helps navigate the coordination of social security systems when transnational issues arise within the EU.
Me Céline Lelièvre holds a DEA in Private Law from Nancy II University (France). She then worked as a teaching assistant at the same university for six years. She has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2001, where she continues to practice both as a legal advisor and a litigation lawyer.
Furthermore, she holds a mediation diploma from the University of Geneva and is trained in collaborative law.
Before joining MCE Avocats, Céline Lelièvre practiced and continues to practice in Luxembourg. As a legal advisor to telecom operators, she developed a specific expertise in public procurement law. Since 2015, in addition to her Luxembourg practice, she has expanded her expertise in Switzerland and is a member of the OAV (Vaud Bar Association) and the FSA (Swiss Bar Association).
