Biography

Céline Mottaz obtained a Bachelor of Law from the University of Lausanne in 2021. She then completed a Master of Law with a specialization in European law at the University of Fribourg in 2023, with magna cum laude honors. During her Master’s degree, she also completed an exchange semester at the University of Bergen in Norway, followed by another semester at the University of Vienna in Austria.

In parallel with her studies, she worked as an ad hoc clerk in labour law at the District Court of Broye and Northern Vaud in Yverdon.

After working for seven months as a clerk in the Geneva civil Court, Céline Mottaz joined our team in July 2024 as a trainee lawyer.

Outside of her legal activities, Céline competed in fencing at a high level until 2019. She was a member of the Swiss national team and represented her country in both the World Cup and European circuits for several seasons.
