Biography
Xavier Vuissoz obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Swiss law from the University of Fribourg in 2012, graduating cum laude with honours in ‘bilingual’, ‘bilingual +’ and ‘European law’. In September 2013, he obtained his Master’s degree in Swiss law from the same University, with Magna cum laude as well as the profiles ‘Economy, contracts and assets’, as well as ‘General in-depth studies’.
After completing his legal traineeship with a law firm in Sion in November 2013, Xavier Vuissoz worked as a trainee lawyer with the District Court of Sion, before obtaining his bar exam in September 2016. From September 2016, Xavier Vuissoz worked as an associate in Lausanne, in a law firm operating nationwide. From 2020, he continued his practice as an independent lawyer in Lausanne before joining MCE Avocats in Martigny as an associate in October 2022.
Xavier Vuissoz is mainly active in the legal field, assisting clients in civil, criminal and administrative proceedings, particularly in the areas of construction law, family law, road traffic law and criminal law. In addition to his work as a lawyer, Xavier Vuissoz has been a member of the Caritas Vaud Committee since June 2022.
