Gilles Robert-Nicoud

Biography

Gilles Robert-Nicoud practised for 15 years within the law firm CBWM & Partners in Lausanne in the fields of business law, administrative law, energy and telecommunications. 

After gaining an MBA in management and corporate finance and then in security policy and crisis management, he spent 7 years heading the legal department of Alpiq Production in Switzerland and Europe. In this role and during a period of crisis, Gilles Robert-Nicoud supported numerous restructuring and M&A projects. 

He has served on a number of boards, including a listed company, in the IT, textile and hydroelectric sectors. He also created and taught the ‘Legal aspects of corporate finance’ course at the HEC business school in Lausanne for 8 years. Gilles Robert-Nicoud specialises in commercial, corporate, real estate and infrastructure law.
